Who we are
Zegwa Studio (OPC) Private Limited (“Zegwa Studio”, “we”, “us”) is a company incorporated in India under the Companies Act 2013. We run zegwastudio.com and provide design, development, automation, lead generation, content and IT services to clients in India and worldwide.

What we collect
Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, company, and whatever you share in a brief, a booking, an email or a WhatsApp message.
If you become a client: billing details, and any files, logins or data you give us to do the work. Card and bank details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
Information collected automatically: basic, cookieless analytics from our hosting platform, such as pages viewed, referrer, country and device type.
How we use it
To reply to you, send a quote, deliver and support your project, send invoices and service updates, keep our systems secure, improve this site, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising on other platforms.
Legal basis
Where data protection law applies (including the GDPR and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023), we process your data because it is needed to deliver what you asked for (contract), for our legitimate interests such as improving and securing our services, with your consent where you have opted in, or because the law requires it.
Cookies and storage
We do not use advertising, retargeting or third-party marketing cookies, and our analytics do not use cookies.
This site stores one small preference in your browser: whether you chose USD or INR prices. It stays on your device and is not used to track you.
If you book a call, the Cal.com scheduler on our Start page may set its own cookies to run the booking. You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the business, currently including Framer (website hosting and forms), Cal.com (call scheduling), our email provider and our payment provider. Each is bound to protect your data and use it only to provide its service to us.
Authorities, if the law, a court order or a government body requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Zegwa Studio, our clients or others.
A new owner, if Zegwa Studio is merged or acquired. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Retention
Enquiries that do not become projects: deleted within 12 months.
Client data: kept for the length of the engagement plus 3 years.
Invoices and financial records: kept for as long as Indian law requires.
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Everyone can ask to see the data we hold about them, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent they gave us.
In the EU and UK you can also ask for a portable copy, object to or restrict processing, and complain to your local data protection authority.
In California you can ask what personal information we hold and ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information, and we will never treat you differently for using your rights.
In India you can ask about the data we process, ask for correction or erasure, and raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer.
To use any of these rights, email privacy@zegwastudio.com. We reply within 30 days.
International transfers
We are based in India and our service providers may store data in other countries, including the United States. Where we move data out of the EU or UK, we use the safeguards that data protection law requires.
Children
Our services are not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think we have, email privacy@zegwastudio.com and we will delete it.

We acknowledge grievances within 72 hours and resolve them within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may take your complaint to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page, and we email active clients about important changes.

AI makes us fast. People make it right. Here is where AI fits into your project, and how we handle your data with AI tools.
What AI does
AI makes first drafts: layouts, code, copy, image and ad variations, and automation logic. It also helps us research, test and write documentation.
What people do
A person sets the direction, reviews every output before you see it, fixes what AI gets wrong, and owns the quality. Nothing reaches you unchecked.
Your data
We use AI tools from established providers, on business terms. We only put your information into a tool when the work needs it.
Where a tool lets us choose, we use settings that stop the provider training its models on your data. We never paste your confidential information into public, consumer AI tools.
Your work is yours
Everything we make for you, including AI-assisted work, is yours once paid in full. We check AI output for obvious copying of other people’s work, and we never use your work to train AI models.
Being open about it
Ask us which parts of a deliverable used AI and we will tell you. If you would rather we did not use AI on part of your project, say so in your brief and we will quote for doing it by hand.
AI we build for you
Chatbots, voice agents and agents we build are tested before launch, limited to your information, and set to hand over to a person when they are unsure. You can see their conversations and change their rules.
Limits
AI can be wrong or out of date. That is why a person reviews everything. We do not use AI to give legal, medical or financial advice.
